PLASTIC BUSTERS INITIATIVE: Tackling marine litter in the Mediterranean since 2013


The Plastic Busters Initiative aims to provide a concrete opportunity to like-minded projects addressing the whole management cycle of marine litter to get together and fully explore the potential for synergies towards ensuring aligned and synchronized marine litter activities across the Mediterranean, all contributing to a shared common objective: to effectively tackle the issue of marine litter in the Mediterranean. It is implemented by SDSN Med at the University of Siena with the support of the Union for the Mediterranean.
