Antonino Alessi Vincenzo is a Ph.D. student in the Biomarker Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Fossi Maria Cristina at the Department of Physical Sciences, Earth, and Environment, University of Siena. He graduated in Biotechnology in 2018 from the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo” and later in Medical Biotechnology in 2021 at the University of Catania. His research ambit concerns the effect that contaminants of emergent concerns (CECs) exert on charismatic species and biodiversity. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. entitled: “Multi-omics approaches to assess the impact of marine pollutants on Mediterranean marine biodiversity.”
